David R. Sherman was born in New York, New York, October 15, 1952; admitted to bar, 1978, Louisiana, U.S. District Court, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. Claims Court and U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Sherman is recognized as one of the leading business/tax lawyers in the area. His law practice is devoted to counseling businesses and individuals in their business, tax, financial and estate planning needs. He represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and handles tax litigation. He also spends a considerable amount of time negotiationg business transactions for clients and representing physicians/healthcare facilities.
