Born New Orleans, Louisiana, November 17, 1939; admitted to bar, 1963, Louisiana; 1968, California; U.S. District Court, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Stassi clerked for the judges of the Civil District Court in New Orleans Parish for one year before joining a large New Orleans law firm where he practiced for a number of years before joining this firm as a partner in 1989. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation, business bankruptcy, creditor rights & commercial collections, real estate, and corporate and business law. He has enjoyed an "a.v." rating by Martindale-Hubbell for many years.
